Festival on Main is Downtown Longmont’s signature summer event with more than 18,000 people in attendance. The downtown district is closed to vehicles during the event and there’s always lots to do. Street performers appearing as live statues, jugglers, stilt walkers, a 14-foot bubble making machine, a climbing wall, a giant puppet, bounce houses, fire and aerial dancers and many more hands-on activities for the kids. In 2014, the Water Ball and Bungee Trampoline will cost $5. This annual event, in its 14th year, is a major showcase of Longmont's very unique and dynamic Downtown.
